Jaire Ruffin earned his degree in Accounting from Texas State University in 2016. During his final semester, he discovered his passion for income tax accounting under the mentorship of a seasoned tax professor and successful tax attorney. This experience opened Jaire’s eyes to the profound impact of tax structuring and wealth planning in generating and protecting after-tax wealth. He learned that no two tax cases are alike and that the tax code offers opportunities to incentivize specific behaviors. Tragedy struck just a week before his graduation when Jaire’s brother’s life was tragically taken. This loss became a defining moment for Jaire, fueling his determination to break cycles of adversity and pursue entrepreneurship with purpose and resilience. With unwavering resolve, he graduated the following week, committed to helping others build their futures with intention and hope.
In 2017, while pursuing his MBA, Jaire embarked on his entrepreneurial journey by partnering with two former JP Morgan Chase stockbrokers to build a chain of tax offices in San Antonio, Texas. Together, they operated three successful tax offices, where Jaire honed his entrepreneurial skills and developed the fortitude needed to thrive in business. The trio’s focus on putting people first, combined with their expertise in accounting, wealth management, and government regulations, resulted in extraordinary achievements:
